Questions I have to answer:
- What is the website about?
- The website is going to be a base where people can come and share their experiences through home remedies.
- What do you want to say/do with it?
- I want to say that everyone is different, comes from different cultures and backgrounds that share different beliefs. I want a place where people can post their own personal stories about home remedies.
- Who are your core target audience?
- 18-45..a mix of generations older people will probably share more. people who believe in home remedies, use them, like to blog and contribute online.
- What do you want to give them or get them to do with the website?
- Have a place they have sign up, and contribute, create a small profile
- What are possible categories?
- Different categories..”cold” “pain” “funny” “food” or countries.
- Where will video/text/audio/google map go?
- A google map on one page, where you can click on different countries and a home remedy will pop up, either in writing or in video..you can post things onto the map in your country.
- How much content will I need of each, to suit what I’m doing to do better?
- Places I can advertise website?
- make posters, organic restaurants/areas, yoga studios, etc.
Inherit THIS

I’ve just had a break-through moment, so I was thinking about what I could call my project as a whole to try and maybe get it copy righted and I have come up with an amazing idea, and I wanted to see what you thought.
I want to call my project ‘Inherit THIS’. It will be a space, a website where people can share stories, advice, remedies, phrases, anything that they have learnt within their family. Like my grandma used to always say, when your palm itches you are going to get money, or always put some money in a wallet before you give it as a present to bring good luck to the person you’re giving it to.
Stuff like that, so I will use the remedies as a base and then branch out to further topics. I don’t think there is anything like this out there and it will be a nice community project. Because within your family there are always rituals that you see your grandmother or mother doing that for you are normal, but to others it is weird or different, so it would be interesting to get people to share these things.
In the end my basis of this project was to get stories of remedies, and it has got a bit side-tracked focusing more on collecting as many home remedies as I can. So in order to take it back, I thought this could be a nice project. I could make a url, InheritTHIS.com..what do you think?
It could be a multimedia platform, where people can upload photos and videos of relatives. It can function as a memory box, or a time capsule, where people share stories of their families or relatives. In the end everyone likes to share the weird and the wacky facts about their family. On the website I could have different sections where you upload your stories..remedies, advice, phrases, just plain weird..etc..
Onto something?

Today I happen to have a meeting with my homeopathic doctor, who I didn’t even think about using for this project..but we got talking and he asked me how university was going. I told him about this home remedies project and what I was trying to do, and he said he was interested in doing the same thing, but on a larger scale (with more financial resources and expertise of course..)
But this is very promising..perhaps the business of home remedies is something bigger than I expected, and I might have just made a potential business partner?!
